Care to Change’s accounting manager was born in Danville, but life took her all over central Indiana before she returned to Hendricks County. Kristy attended High School in Seymour and then went to Indiana State University.

After graduating from ISU with a double major in Management Information Systems and Accounting, she began her career at a CPA firm. It didn’t take her long to realize that public accounting wasn’t quite her calling, and she moved on to accounting roles with a large furniture store and a catalog sales company. Kristy’s responsibilities expanded into budgets and projections before she chose to focus full-time on motherhood.

She began to volunteer at Kingsway Christian Church, and was eventually asked to become Kingsway’s staff accountant, a position that provided the flexibility she needed. Now she’s brought her skills to the Care to Change team.

Kristy and her husband, Jason, have been married for nineteen years and have three children. The family lives in Danville, and Kristy and Jason are active at Connection Pointe Christian Church. While she enjoys running, working out, organizing, taking vacations, and spending time with family, these days, most of the couple’s spare time is spent cheering on their kids at a host of sporting events.
