Well-meaning people often tell us to count our blessings, but when life’s circumstances weigh us down, that can be difficult to do. Joelle believes God’s purpose for her is to help others become liberated from despair and fear, so they may walk in the abundant life Jesus makes possible every day. That’s why He guided her to gain the skills, talents, and life experiences to bring healing, redemption, and restoration to the lives of those in need.

As a Christian counselor who is currently completing coursework for a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University, Joelle chose Care to Change because of our mission to bring God’s kingdom and love to people who are hurting, broken, and vulnerable. She sees her calling as helping those people find healing and purpose in their lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find Joelle and Nick making the most of their free time. When she isn’t running, biking, or tearing up the pickleball court, you’ll most likely find her buried in a good book, taking a loaf of sourdough from the oven, or just enjoying the company of friends.
