Grace felt the call to ministry from a young age, and spent 16 years serving in a variety of roles centered on serving students in middle and high school. As she focused on helping individual students with their challenges, she came to realize God had a slightly different path in mind. She enjoyed walking alongside these young people as they dealt with life’s hard aspects, so she shifted her focus to counseling.

Grace earned her undergraduate degree in music and Christian Ministry from Taylor University, and has done graduate work at Huntington University and Indiana Wesleyan University, where she’ll soon complete a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. When she found Care to Change, she knew she had been blessed with a professional environment aligned with her values. Today, she provides counseling to young people — and also helps their parents navigate through these trying times.

She and husband Nate have two children and are members of Grace Church in Camby. When Grace isn’t working, you’ll find her running, reading, or serving in student ministry.
