The Care to Change team of professional counselors knows how effective therapy can be, but for Emma, her own experiences provide even more powerful evidence. When she faced a mental health crisis of her own some time back, the venue manager turned to a Christian counselor for help. As she felt her life begin to transform, she realized God was calling her to become a therapist and help others with their own challenges.
Emma is completing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the Care to Change team because of our mission to serve God by counseling others. Her work focuses on people who are experiencing grief, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and depression.
The oldest in a family of five children, Emma attends College Park Church. When she isn’t helping others or studying, you’ll find her hiking, reading, or baking (and occasionally slipping goodies to her sweet pug, Moose).
