Ministry comes to people in many different ways. Alison began her education in worship ministry but quickly realized her real passion involved serving people on a deeper, more personal level. So she shifted her studies to focus on pastoral care and counseling. Today, she serves people facing a broad array of challenges, with a particular interest in helping college students and young adults navigate their new worlds, as well as people struggling with anxiety, depression, and OCD.

After earning undergraduate degrees in Worship Ministry, Pastoral Care & Counseling, and Bible from Johnson University, Alison is working a master’s in Counseling. She feels at home at Care to Change, seeing it as a welcoming, safe environment where she can work alongside other therapists while serving clients.

Her husband, Brad, serves as worship pastor at Plainfield Christian Church, and the couple shares their home with golden retriever, Luna. If she isn’t walking Luna or hanging out with Brad, you’ll likely see her out running somewhere.
